Who is God?

No question we can ask is ever more important or timely.  What God says, what He does and His reasons all reflect who He is.  That’s why knowing Him makes all the difference in the world!  And because God is love, one simply can’t truly know Him without loving Him.

Marcel is a pastor, missionary and chaplain who has been challenging people to take a deeper look into who God is for over 20 years now, inviting them to enter into a more trusting relationship with Him.  After all, faith is not something that we just turn on when we need it: it’s a trust that grows deeper and stronger during the journey of a lifetime, as we get to know Him better through the ups and downs of life.

Marcel is also a husband, father and friend who considers God’s Holy Word, the Bible, to be the greatest source of wisdom for healthy, fulfilling relationships.  In fact, he believes that every teaching of the Bible is all about developing healthy relationships—our relationship with God, with each other and with the rest of His creation.

This is website is being designed to encourage reflection on life and its challenges, the meaning of God’s Word and how we apply its principles to everyday life, and practical concerns of church leadership in 2013.  It will tell the stories of lives that have been changed and will share Marcel’s and others’ thoughts on the meaning of life and its twists and turns.  It will help you accept others more fully, which will ultimately increase your understanding fo God and your love for Him.  It will also provide a number of resources and ideas to enrich your ministry and stir your own creative juices.

In John 10:10, Jesus said “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”  Today, as technology and globalization have turned our lives upside down, we need to know God more than ever before if we are going to be “the head and not the tail” (Deut. 28:13) and experience satisfaction, peace and happiness in our lives.
